GlassesShop

Hi guys!

So... personal story time. I wear glasses in real life and I have always HATED shopping for glasses. Like, HATE HATE it. Like, they were always at least $100 and if you wanted actual cute ones the price just went up and up.

BUT!

After stalking Alexa Poletti's awesomeness, she found a shop that made cute kawaii-ish glasses and (*insert trumpet fanfare*) they were cheap and online!

WHA? Is this real life?

(*Gasp*) It isssssss....

Ok, so, I got my glasses from a sale they were having where things were $1 plus shipping. So, my glasses ended up being about $6.

$6, y'all, versus like $100? Holy cow...

The first pair that I got were the Pleasanton Rectangle Black/Blue and it was super easy to do! You don't have to leave your house, you don't have to go get your eyes re-checked.. as long as you have your prescription somewhere all you have to do is type it in and voila! Glasses arrive that are specifically tailored to you and your special eyes!

My Pleasanton Rectangle Black/Blue are super comfy and I wear them with all of my blue outfits! So, of course, since a majority or my outfits are either blue or pink, I also got,

The Barstow Rectangle Black/Rose!

Which I wear with all of my pink outfits!

They are both SO cute, and I love them to death. I can't wait to get more, and my mom even wants to buy some Pleasanton's for herself.

I HIGHLY recommend GlassesShop. Here's their website, go try them out! www.glassesshop.com

Also, here's my video review for the shop!

MapleLens.com review Part 2!!

So, after the first review from MapleLens, I got to pick out two more sets of contacts from them! It was, as always, the toughest choice ever, but I eventually narrowed it down to EOS Bright Blue and GEO Anime CPA7 Cosplay Contacts.

Let'ssss start with EOS Bright Blue.

I was worried when I first got these that they wouldn't show up well on my dark brown eyes. They are so light, and the color seems to fade in around the edges. But, when I put them in, I was proven wrong!

Bluey bluey bluey bluey blueeeeee!!!! So pretty, AND eye enlarging! Also, I love how the blue seems to spark itself on the outer parts of my irises.

I also like how the brown seeps through the middle. It makes it look like my eye color transitions!!!

I wore these at Anime Weekend Atlanta in September with my Panty cosplay and my Janna cosplay. They were perfect for both and were comfortable for numerous hours of use! I really do like these. They don't shock you from across the street, but they are exotic looking when you're up close.

And then there are these bad boys...

THESE are cosplay lenses from MapleLens called GEO Anime CPA7 Cosplay Contacts.

I was hesitant to order these at first because the only come in plano prescription, and I like to be able to see. But, if you are just using them for photoshoot purposes...

They are pretty awesome!!!

So these are like the brightest pair of contacts that I own, other than my Twilight Princess lenses... which I LOVE because of their brightness, but stopped wearing because they were SO uncomfortable.

These, are as bright as those, (if not brighter) and guys... THEY ARE COMFORTABLE!!! Like, seriously.. I've worn these about three times now, and I keep forgetting that they are in my eyes!

These are perfect for the "Shocker" effect, or if you just want them to be seen from across the street. If there was a way to get these in prescription, these would be my favorite contacts ever, hands down. (For those of you that have perfect vision, you're so lucky!)

Super thanks to MapleLens.com for sending me the lenses!! I love them!!!!
